History renews ‘Top Gear’

American adaptation earns third season

History has renewed the U.S. version of “Top Gear” for a third season.

In its second season, “Top Gear” averaged more than one million viewers in the 18-49 and 25-54 demos, improvements of approximately 25% compared with season one. It is also History’s youngest-skewing season.
