RCR Pictures has hired Carolyn Harris to be its first television VP.
Exec comes from WME where she was a lit agent and packaged properties for both broadcast and cable nets.
Shingle is looking to make more of a presence in the television space. Previous projects include Peter Tolan’s “House on Fire” and Kevin Murphy’s “Unearthly,” each of which were in development at ABC and CW, respectively.
“Carolyn ebodies that rare trifecta of taste, savvy and hard work and we think she is just the person to build RCR as a producer of remarkable new shows,” said CEO Robin Schorr.
Previous exec moves at RCR include the promotions of Dan Seligmann to VP of feature production and Noah Weinstein to creative exec.
