Dish Network and Gannett said Monday they have reached a long-term agreement regarding the satcaster’s continued retransmission of Gannett’s stations.
The companies didn’t provide details. Their contract expired at midnight Sunday and they negotiated through the night to avoid blacking out Gannet’s broadcast stations to Dish subs. The sides were hashing out rates and, Dish had said, usage of its Autohop DVR feature. More details to follow.
