FX reups ‘Brand X,’ ‘Totally Biased’

Both shows are produced inhouse

FX has given additional 13-episode orders to both of its latenight entries: “Brand X With Russell Brand” and “Totally Biased With W. Kamau Bell.”

Both shows offer their season finales this week. Hourlong “Brand X” special on Thursday includes guest Sarah Silverman; when the show returns Feb. 7, the former half-hour will remain an hourlong entry.

After also closing its season on Thursday with guest John Oliver of “The Daily Show With Jon Stewart,” “Totally Biased” returns with new episodes Jan. 17.

“We’re proud to have two of the most strikingly original and funny voices in latenight as part of the FX comedy lineup,” said Nick Grad, exec VP of original programming.

Both shows are produced inhouse by FX Prods. Chris Rock serves as an exec producer on “Totally Biased.”
