Series on former spouses of rockers to bow Dec. 7
Music network Fuse has acquired Tricon Film and TV’s “Ex-Wives of Rock” and will slot the reality skein in its new block of original series, “Fuse Friday Nights.”
“Ex-Wives” centers on the former spouses of rock stars from bands including Scorpion, Motley Crue and Warrant. Shannon Tweed, Gene Simmons’ wife, narrates the 14 half-hour episodes; series debuts Dec. 7.
“I’ll put our ex-wives of rock against all other TV wives any day, any time,” said Brad Schwartz, senior VP of programming and operations at Fuse. “This already proven hit show is the perfect complement to Fuse’s stories from the world of music, and we couldn’t be more excited to add these compelling characters to our brand new original series block on Friday nights.”
“Ex-Wives of Rock” joins Fuse’s growing slate of original programming, including “Funny or Die’s Billy on the Street,” “Warped Roadies” and “Popped.”
