Fox has reset its Tuesday comedy lineup with “Raising Hope” moving to 8 p.m. and “Breaking In” closing out the two-hour programming block.
Moves take place March 6. “New Girl” will stay at 9 p.m. Originally, Fox was going to air “New Girl” twice on Tuesdays — a repeat at 8 and then an original episode at 9 p.m., but decided to keep the Zooey Deschanel skein to only one airing for the night.
New sked also makes room for “I Hate My Teenage Daughter” at 8:30 following “Raising Hope.” The Jaime Pressly starrer opened in late November to poor reviews and subpar ratings, but Fox has hopes that it might rebound here sandwiched by “Raising Hope” and “New Girl.”
The winter finale of “Glee” will air Feb. 21 and vacate the sked to make room for the new half-hour lineup. A two-hour “American Idol” will air Feb. 28.
“Breaking In,” which ran for seven episodes as a midseason starter last year, is set to begin its second season. Megan Mullally has been added to the cast that toplines Christian Slater.
