‘Fashion Star’ deal reached

Taping of reality show resumes

Production has resumed on the NBC reality TV series “Fashion Star” in the wake of a tentative deal for about 70 crew members.

Taping of the show had been halted Saturday once crew members and supporters started picketing at Hollywood Center Studios.

Negotiations with producers began Monday with crew members repped by the Intl. Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees. The deal was reached early Wednesday in time for taping later that day.

“Fashion Star” includes Jessica Simpson, Nicole Richie and John Varvatos as judges. Show is produced by Electus, Magical Elves Prods. and 5X5 Media. The net and the producers had no comment about the deal.
