ABC has given a series order to an aquatic competition series from Eyeworks USA dubbed ”Celebrity Splash.”
Skein involves celebs training to perform increasingly difficult dives. The show was a hit for Dutch broadcaster SBS 6 this summer. Eyeworks (formerly known as 3 Ball Prods.) is shopping the show to global buyers at the Mipcom sales confab next week in Cannes. It’s already been set up in the U.K., France and Australia. Eyeworks’ J.D. Roth, Todd Nelson and Brant Pinvidic exec produce.
