The Marilyn Monroe craze has hit eOne.

Canadian shingle is working with Monroe’s estate to develop and produce a reality series based on the iconic entertainer.

Titled “Finding Marilyn,” the hourlong show would have 12 female contestants travel to Hollywood to try and make it big in show business.

John Morayniss, Rick De Oliveira and Tara Long of eOne will exec produce, along with Jamie Salter and Joel Weinshanker of Monroe’s estate. Authentic Brands Group holds the exclusive rights to the estate.

During the recent bigscreen awards season, much praised was heaped on Michelle Williams for her turn as Monroe in “My Week With Marilyn.” NBC’s Monday night drama “Smash” examines the behind-the-scenes goings-on on a Broadway play based on the blonde bombshell.
