‘Dance Competition’ for Lifetime

Young dancers to compete for Joffrey slot

Lifetime has picked up “Abby’s Ultimate Dance Competition,” ordering 10 episodes of the competish skein.

“Ultimate Dance” is headlined by Abby Lee Miller (“Dance Moms”) and will feature a dozen dancers ages 6 through 13 competing for $100,000 and a scholarship to the Young Dancer Program at Gotham’s Joffrey Ballet School. Dancers will learn routines and compete in challenges while being coached by their own mothers. One dancer will be eliminated each week.

Judges will include Miller along with Pussycat Dolls founder Robin Antin and choreographer Richard Jackson. Kevin Manno will host.

“Abby’s Ultimate Dance Competition” will be produced by Collins Avenue and is slated to bow this fall.
