The CW has ordered second seasons of reality series “Oh Sit!” and “Breaking Pointe.”
The greenlighting of “Breaking Pointe” for season two comes even though the show pulled meager numbers for the net when it aired early this summer. CW topper Mark Pedowitz said that though he wished the dance-themed docuseries did better in the ratings, it was nevertheless “a digital online success.”
“Breaking Pointe” is produced by BBC Worldwide Prods. with Izzie Pick Ashcroft and Jane Tranter exec producing.
Competish show “Oh Sit!,” a ramped up version of musical chairs, has performed OK relative to the net’s other programming this summer.
It is created and exec produced by Phil Gurin, Richard Joel and Deena Dill. Series is from The Gurin Company and 405 Prods. in association with Warner Horizon TV.
