Entertainment One has named Debra Curtis senior veep of current programming.
Curtis will oversee an eOne slate that includes “Hell on Wheels” (AMC), “Rookie Blue” (ABC), “Call Me Fitz” (DirecTV) and “Saving Hope” (CTV) as well as upcoming suspense-drama series “Rogue,” starring Thandie Newton (DirecTV).
“Deb comes to eOne with a terrific reputation in the creative community as well as a wealth of experience overseeing numerous high-profile dramas,” said eOne exec veep of U.S. scripted television Michael Rosenberg, to whom Curtis will report.
Prior to joining eOne, Curtis served as development veep at GK-TV, where she oversaw development as well as production. She also spent 15 years at Sony Pictures Television, where she was U.S. current programming veep, overseeing series such as FX dramas “Damages,” “Rescue Me” and “The Shield.”
