Robin Hommel takes reins of primetime strip to bow Sept. 4

Current TV’s primetime yakker “Joy Behar: Say Anything” has set Robin Hommel as exec producer.

Hommel co-exec produced “The Nate Berkus Show” and has helped launch skeins “Rachael Ray,” “Martha” and “The Jane Pauley Show.” A two-time Emmy winner, Hommel previously worked with Behar as supervising producer of HLN’s “The Joy Behar Show,” which was canceled in December.

“I would not do this show without Robin Hommel,” Behar said. “She is a seasoned television producer…I’m delighted we have the opportunity with my new show to work together again.”

“Joy Behar: Say Anything” will air nightly Monday through Thursday and cover a range of topics du jour with a rotating panel of commentators. Series will bow on Current TV on Sept. 4 at 6 p.m.
