Core Media taps Jennifer O’Connell to head TV

Former NBC exec to oversee prod'n, development out of L.A. office

Former NBC exec Jennifer O’Connell has joined Core Media Group as head of its television wing.

Move reunites O’Connell with Core Media chief Marc Graboff, who was a top exec at NBC Entertainment during her seven-year tenure in programming at the Peacock. Graboff took the reins of Core at the start of this year.

O’Connell will oversee all TV production and development for Core, based out its Los Angeles office.

“With her deep experience on the selling and producing side of the television business, coupled with her prior expertise as a network buyer, Jen is truly the ideal executive to lead Core’s television operations,” Graboff said.

O’Connell has spent the past three years as exec veep at reality production shop Shed Media, working on such series as “The Real Housewives of New York City” and “Bethenny Ever After.”
