Clayton cast in Lifetime’s ‘Wives’

Pilot looks at marital challenges for four women

Lifetime has cast Amber Clayton for a co-starring role in its upcoming pilot “Secret Lives of Wives.”

Project, from Warner Horizon, involves four marriages and how the women of those respective couples deal with everyday marital challenges.

Clayton, who had a role in CBS’ short-lived hospital drama “Three Rivers,” will play Keaton, an aspiring fashion designer who was a virgin until she married the love of her life. Salli Richardson was previously cast as one of the wives.

Pilot was written by Jill Gordon, who teamed with Lifetime as one of the writers on last year’s cancer-themed miniseries “Five.” She exec produces with Dan Lin and Jennifer Gwartz.
