Gotham artist looks to cablers for 'Turnaround' sale

Tattoo artist Keith Ciaramello is looking to spread his ink to cable.

Ciaramello, producer Conrad Ricketts and David DiVona are shopping “Keith’s Tattoo Turnaround” to various networks, hoping to find a cabler wanting to add a tattoo-themed show to their programming mix.

Series would follow Ciaramello, who owns a Gotham-based tattoo business, on the road as he helps failing shops clean up their acts and turn their businesses around. As part of his mission, Ciaramello would expose deficiencies in cleanliness, organization and even the lack of some basic tattoo skills critical to ensuring clients’ safety and protection.

There are and have been a handful of tattoo-themed shows on the air, including “Ink Master” at Spike and “NY Ink” on TLC. “LA Ink,” which also aired on TLC, ended its four-year run last year. “Tattoo Highway” aired for a season on A&E.

Ricketts was a longtime producer on “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” and DiVona, who packaged “Turnaround,” is a former musician.
