CBS Studios extends pact with ProSiebenSat.1

Red Arrow continues shopping spree, nabs Nerd, July August


CBS Studios Intl. has renewed its output deal with German broadcasting giant ProSiebenSat.1, extending their 15-year relationship.

ProSiebenSat.1 gets exclusive rights, including VOD, for Germany, Austria and Switzerland to all new U.S. series CBS produces over the next several years.

CBS shows are among the broadcaster’s highest-rated series, including “NCIS,” “NCIS: Los Angeles” and “Hawaii Five-0,” which air on flagship channel Sat.1.

CBS Studios Intl. prexy Armando Nunez said, “The extension of this agreement solidifies our position in this important market with a strong partner as we continue to grow our new series into successful global franchises.”

ProSiebenSat.1 CEO Thomas Ebeling, “Our most successful long-term shows include many CBS series. We are delighted to continue our good work together in the years to come.”
