CBS has ordered a pilot for a comedy ensembler penned by Louis C.K. and ”Seinfeld” alum Spike Feresten.
Project is notable in that it is produced by NBCUniversal’s Universal TV unit and BermanBraun. It’s been a goal of the new regime at the Peacock for its network production arm to branch out to fielding projects for other networks. The untitled project revolves around a group of young people working to achieve their creative dreams amid tough financial times. Louis C.K., who toplines his own FX laffer ”Louie,” and Feresten exec produce with Gail Berman, Lloyd Braun and BermanBraun’s Gene Stein.
