Multicamera project hails from WBTV

CBS has given a put pilot order to an untitled comedy from Kari Lizer and Warner Bros. TV.

Lizer will write and exec produce the multicamera laffer about a man who discovers that his dream woman happens to be his cousin’s fiancee.

Lizer, known for shepherding the CBS sitcom “The New Adventures of Old Christine,” fielded comedy pilots this past season for ABC and NBC, also through Warners. She’s one of the most sought-after comedy showrunners.

The Eye’s comedy development commitments to date include a project from “Community” creator Dan Harmon and a new spin on “The Brady Bunch” from Vince Vaughn’s Wild West Picture Show banner.

Lizer is repped by Vision Art Management.
