Former 3 Arts exec to serve as exec veep of global production
Carrie Stein has exited 3 Arts Entertainment to join Entertainment One Television as exec veep of global production.Based in Los Angeles, Stein will focus on packaging projects for eOne and scout worldwide partnership opportunities for the fast-growing indie production-distrib outfit. She’ll work closely with eOne TV prexy John Morayniss as well as Peter Emerson, prexy of eOne TV Intl., and eOne Canada prexy Margaret O’Brien. The new post is a good fit with Stein’s background as a packaging agent at ICM and her experience in the world of global co-productions through her stint at Alchemy TV. She joined 3 Arts in 2010 to head its global packaging and management arm. “Carrie is an extremely talented and hard working executive with significant experience and an impressive track record in developing, packaging, sourcing and pre-selling television programming in the U.S., Canada and international marketplace,” Morayniss said.
