Cannon, his banner ink deal with NBC

First-look pact keeps 'Got Talent' host in-house

NBC has inked a first-look deal with Nick Cannon, host of Peacock’s “America’s Got Talent,” and Cannon’s banner NCredible Entertainment.

Deal calls for NCredible to develop scripted and reality programming for NBC. Cannon and his manager and biz partner, Michael Goldman, are the principals at the banner. Cannon will also continue hosting “AGT” next summer.

“We are gratified to know that this new agreement will expand our successful working relationship with Nick beyond ‘America’s Got Talent’ and allow him to further draw on his notable creative instincts,” said Paul Telegdy, topper of alternative and latenight programming at the net. “Nick already has produced content for many entertainment genres and formats, and we look forward with great anticipation to his cutting-edge ideas in the months to come.”
