National Geographic has tapped Brooke Runnette as VP of development and special projects.
Runnette joins Nat Geo from Discovery, where she was exec producer and director of development for specials like Shark Week. In her new veep post as Nat Geo, she will be responsible for developing series and speshes for the cabler. Runnette will report to Noel Siegel, senior veep of production and development. Prior to her run at Discovery, Runnette served as exec director of programming at TLC, where she exec produced “Little People, Big World” and developed “Toddlers & Tiaras.” She also was a producer at ABC News.Brooke Runnette to National Geographic
