Bischoff Hervey nabs stake in MX Digital

Reality TV producer acquires 50% equity in casino game developer

Reality TV producer Bischoff Hervey Entertainment has acquired a 50% equity stake in fast-growing casino game developer MX Digital.

BHE has done reality shows for Discovery Channel, CMT, NBC, VH1, TruTV, Spike and the CW. It recently launched into scripted comedy with “See Dad Run” on Nick at Nite starring Scott Baio. Its licensing division has worked with WWE, Socko Energy, Hulk Hogan and Wal-mart.

MX Digital, founded in 2008, creates casino and betting games for online and mobile platforms. It has offices in Los Angeles, Buenos Aries, and Miami and develops and distributes games in more than 20 countries.

“We’re incredibly excited about our partnership with MX. We’re expanding into an entirely new sector of entertainment and content,” says Eric Bischoff, who founded BHE TV in 2003 with Jason Hervey.

Financial terms of the deal weren’t released.
