Nickelodeon has signed a development deal with writer Chris Baldi.
Baldi’s TV movie “Friend Request” is gestating at the kid cabler, but has not been given an official greenlight yet. Story revolves around a teenage girl, on the cusp of popularity, who accidentally acquires a new best friend — an eccentric 11 year old boy who brings a whirlwind of chaos wherever he goes. Mike Sammaciccia and Ian Sheppard are exec producing the project. Baldi is repped by CAA and New Wave Entertainment.
