TV shows including 'Heroes' added to SVOD service

Amazon and NBCUniversal have expanded a content licensing agreement to include TV series “Parks and Recreation,” “Parenthood,” “The Starter Wife” and “Friday Night Lights,” “Heroes” and “Battlestar Galactica” on Prime Instant Video.

The addition comes on the heels of the companies’ deal last July to land over 1,000 TV episodes and movies on Prime Prime, which is Amazon’s subscription VOD service. Prime now has more than 22,000 movies and TV episodes.
