Actress cast in Lifetime biopic from Zadan, Meron
Telepic is exec produced by Craig Zadan and Neil Meron’s Storyline Entertainment and Judith Verno from Sony Pictures TV.
“Smith” is written by John Rice and Joe Batteer and based on the true life story of Vicky Lynn Hogan, a pretty but plain girl growing up in a small Texas town who transforms herself into Anna Nicole Smith, who became a Playboy centerfold and Guess model before passing away in 2007.
Bruckner recently completed shooting John Fuhrman’s indie feature “A Bit of Bad Luck” and indie feature “Wrong Cops.” She can next be seen in “The Baytown Outlaws” alongside Billy Bob Thornton and Eva Longoria and also stars in “Breaking the Girl,” which recently sold to IFC Midnight.
