The network that brought you “Dancing with the Stars” will unveil a new summer reality series about singing with the stars.
Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Nettles, Lionel Richie and Robin Thicke have been recruited for “Duets,” which has the chart-topping quartet combing the country for amateur talent they will team with each week for performances. Winning crooner gets a record deal with Hollywood Records. “Duets” hasn’t gotten a specific start date yet for ABC, but joins a summer schedule where the CW has already a celebrity-stocked music-competition series of its own to bow.
