ABC has renewed a slew of its most popular returning series Thursday ahead of making any new pickups.
Producers on four dramas–”Once Upon A Time,” “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Castle,” “Revenge”–and three comedies “Modern Family,” “The Middle” and “Suburgatory” all received official notification they’re getting another season. Not on the list but still not counted out: “GCB,” “Body of Proof,” “Last Man Standing,” “Private Practice,” “Missing,” “Scandal,” “Don’t Trust the B in Apt. 23″ and “Happy Endings.” It’s possible some of these shows will be back with limited episode orders. None of the renewals is a surprise. “Time,” “Revenge,” and “Suburgatory” were standouts in their first year while “Middle,” “Modern,” “Anatomy” and “Castle” have been proven players for the Alphabet.ABC renews seven series
Expected episode orders include 'Modern Family'
