ABC has bought a drama spec from “Psych” scribe Todd Harthan and Mandeville Films.
Gritty medical vehicle centers around doctors working at an urban hospital. ABC Studios project, still in the development stage, will be exec produced by Harthan and Mandeville’s David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman. Spec is Harthan’s first project with ABC. He currently serves as co-exec producer on USA Network’s “Psych,” and has worked on other series including Spike TV’s “The Kill Point” and Starz’s “Crash.” Harthan is repped at UTA and Circle of Confusion.
