Insiders: Exec shuffles
Fox News has elevated Michael Clemente to exec veep of news editorial. John Moody has returned to Fox News as exec VP and exec editor. Clemente has been with Fox News since 2009. Moody spent 13 years with the cabler before shifting in 2009 to the CEO post of News Corp.’s Newscore internal wire service. Clemente and Moody report to Fox News chief Roger Ailes.
Media Rights Capital has named Charlie Goldstein veep of TV production. Goldstein’s background includes long tenures as head of physical production for 20th Century Fox TV and NBC Prods. He most recently served as a producer on HBO’s “The Newsroom.”
B/W/R talent publicists Nicole Perna and Melissa Raubvogel have been upped to exec veeps. Perna has been with the praisery since 2002. Raubvogel joined the firm in 2004.
Current TV has appointed Ashok Sinha as veep of corporate communications. He comes to the indie cabler from Oxygen Media, where he was director of communications.
Oxygen Media has upped Puja Vohra to senior veep of marketing. Vohra, who had been veep of ad sales marketing, takes on oversight of corporate consumer marketing for the NBCUniversal cabler.
Univision Communications has tapped Keith Norman as veep of political advocacy and government sales. He joins a team of six execs that develop strategies for outreach to Hispanic voters. Univision has also promoted Rosemary Mercedes to veep of corporate communications, overseeing the company’s Gotham-based PR team. Mercedes has been with Univision since 2006.
Telemundo Media has promoted Lisette Simon to senior veep of human resources. She’s been with Telemundo since 2000, most recently serving as veep of human resources for its station group.
