Chris Scarlata has been promoted to design veep of Comedy Central. He joined the cabler in 1998 and was most recently design director for on-air promotions.

Ovation has named Erica Martinez as art director. She comes to the cabler from MGM Studios, where she spent five years as manager of creative for the Lion’s worldwide TV marketing division.
