Insiders: Exec shuffles

Mike Gunter has been tapped chief operating officer for 3D conversion firm Stereo D. He segues from Stereo D parent company Deluxe Entertainment Services Group, where he was exec veep and chief financial officer.

Sam Michaels has been named senior veep of strategic development for NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment and Cable Studios. Katherine Flynn-Vizzini has expanded her role as veep of strategic development in the unit, reporting to Michaels. Michaels had been veep in NBCU’s corporate strategic planning and development group.

Comedy Central has appointed Brooke Posch veep of original programming and development, East Coast. She joins the cabler after serving as VP of comedy and animation at MTV since 2009.

Muriel Malka has joined Advance Publications as head of mergers and acquisitions. She joins the parent company of Conde Nast from NBCUniversal, where she worked in corporate strategy and development since 2000.

Todd Whiting has been promoted to senior veep for NBCUniversal Cable and New Media Distribution. He joined NBCU’s management associates program in 2004.

Style Network has named Alicia Muntzner veep of advertising sales. She was previously director of advertising sales for USA Network.
