Insiders: Exec shuffles

Dan Menzel has been promoted to senior VP of cable sales for Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution. Menzel, previously veep of cable sales, has been with WB for more than a dozen years.

NBC Sports Group has upped Princell Hair to senior VP of news and talent. Hair joined Comcast Sports Group in 2008 as senior veep of news operations.

Colleen Fitzpatrick has been named veep of music for the Nickelodeon Group cablers. She previously ran Collective Songs, the licensing and publishing division of the Collective management-production shingle.

TV Land has tapped Rose Catherine Pinkney veep of development and original programming, based in Los Angeles. Pinkney most recently headed Laurence Fishburne’s Cinema Gypsy Prods., and before that held exec posts at Paramount Network TV and TV One.

Ari Perler has been named veep of market research and strategic sales insights for NBCUniversal Cable and New Media Distribution and Domestic Television Distribution. He came to the Peacock in 2008 from Fox News Channel.

Loeb & Loeb has added Barry E. Mallen as an L.A.-based partner in its IP and entertainment litigation practice. He was previously with Manatt, Phelps & Phillips.

Glen Hansen has joined Zodiak Rights, the international arm of Zodiak Media, as senior veep of acquisitions and business development for North America. He’ll spearhead Zodiak’s third-party acquisitions in the U.S. He had been head of sales for the Fox Look formats licensing unit.
