Carrie Ann Inaba hosts Genesis Awards

“Dancing With the Stars'” Carrie Ann Inaba hosted Saturday’s Genesis Awards, with some help from “The Artist’s” Uggie. When Inaba took two takes to record an introduction for the TV broadcast of the Humane Society event, she let go with a joke from the floor of the BevHilton, “I’m used to live TV!”

Of course, a vegan dinner was served. Presenter and longtime vegan Moby expressed his gratitude. “It’s the only awards show where I can actually eat everything,” he said.

Some moments were not for the weak-stomached, including presenter Bill Maher’s anecdote about his pet dog eating his own vomit. “I thought I should step in, but I didn’t really want to clean it up,” he joked.
