Network bows in bouncy fashion

Club Nokia was decked out in red and white polka dots and stripes on Thursday night, a bouncy motif to herald Monday’s launch of Fox’s Spanish-lingo network MundoFox.

Venue was packed with media buyers, advertisers and stars of MundoFox shows, including Marlon Moreno, the leading man of the net’s flagship drama “El Capo” (think Tony Soprano en Espanol).

The speechifying was kept to a minimum as DJ Daisy O’Dell commanded the stage, flanked by bongo players. Execs in the crowd were happy but admittedly weary after working nonstop to get the network from zero to 60 in barely six months.
