Fox family turns out for Reilly

Champ change for children

Host Jane Lynch explained the presence of the Fox Television family Thursday night, as the Alliance for Children’s Rights celebrated its 20th anniversary by awarding Fox Entertainment prexy Kevin Reilly the National Champion for Children Award.

“I’m here to make sure that Kevin owes me a favor!” Lynch joked as she took the reins of the party held at the Beverly Hilton. The same could be said of the rest of the Fox crowd including CEO Jim Gianopulos, “New Girl’s” cast of Lamorne Morris, Jake Johnson, Max Greenfield, Hannah Simone and Zooey Deschanel plus “Raising Hope’s” Martha Plimpton.

Deschanel entertained the lawyer-filled audience with three tunes that she called “two standards and a Patsy” (Cline, that is).

The night raised more than $1.2 million.
