WeHo’s Fig and Olive was packed with percenters on Saturday as ICM Partners added a brunch to the sked of Emmy weekend festivities. Partygoers including “Nurse Jackie’s” Edie Falco enjoyed the distinctive nibbles and supped from a vat of paella as big as a bathtub.
That night, it almost looked like a security briefing was going on poolside at the Sunset Tower as stars of “Homeland” huddled at Showtime’s early-evening fete. Damian Lewis, Mandy Patinkin, David Harewood, Morena Baccarin and others received a steady stream of well-wishers. Claire Danes impressed in a bold blue sheath that highlighted her emerging baby bump. The intimate gathering became even more so once R&B maestro John Legend took to the piano for a five-song set that featured jazzy renditions of Bruce Springsteen’s “Dancing in the Dark” and the Beatles’ “Here Comes the Sun.” Afterward, a lively conversation ensued in the power-corner cluster that included Ryan Murphy, Leslie Moonves, Rick Rosen and Dana Walden.Emmy eve expansion
