In her post for just a year, the London-based Wong — previously president and CEO of Lifetime Networks — has already racked up thousands of miles to meet with influential industry executives in international territories. She oversees 18 production companies in 15 countries, on five continents. Since she took over, Wong has acquired two well-respected and acclaimed production companies in the U.K., Silver River and Left Bank, rounding out Sony’s group of companies in Blighty and covering all genres of programming with the goal of producing new intellectual property that travels globally.

Insider trading: “The world outside of the U.S. is really big. There are lots of different countries with very different entertainment industries, economies and ways of doing business. It is a huge world and each country is incredibly distinct and fascinating!”

Work week hours: “Since I work in every time zone, the answer is not good …”
