Aside from running day-to-day operations at Paradigm, Klein reps an elite roster of showrunners behind some of the top shows on U.S. television such as Shane Brennan (“NCIS”), Marc Cherry (“Devious Maids,” “Desperate Housewives”) as well as Robert and Michelle King (“The Good Wife”). Klein is a hands-on mom to her two sons and a member of various philanthropic boards, including that of Cedars-Sinai Hospital.

What we should know: “The entertainment industry is tremendously philanthropic. Studios, networks, and agencies give millions of dollars a year to charitable organizations, and artists donate their time, energies, star power and money to very important causes.”

Words of wisdom: “Pick an area of the industry that really excites you and then educate yourself on the business of the business. Data on all aspects of the industry is readily available, and becoming knowledgeable about what you love will help you establish yourself and move up quickly.”

Work week: “I’m always available to my clients and colleagues, which I think they appreciate. I have an open-door policy in my office and am constantly hearing about new projects, clients and ideas.”

Key to life-work balance: “Multitasking.”

Charitable passion: “Cedars-Sinai. It seems as if everyone in Los Angeles has been touched by the great work that takes place at Cedars-Sinai.”
