Nominee reaction: Christopher Plummer

Supporting actor, 'Beginners'

Supporting actor nominee Christopher Plummer admits to having been concerned that “Beginners” would be overlooked by kudos voters because it opened in the U.S. back in June. But after making it all the way to the Oscars, Plummer is glad the hard work by everyone on the film has paid off.

“It has been a long ride,” he said. “It’s a shame the film didn’t open closer to the event, but it has seen great resurgence and great interest in it with all the nominations.”
