Lollapalooza has announced the lineup for its 2012 fest, with the Red Hot Chili Peppers, the Black Keys, Black Sabbath and Jack White to headline the three-day fest.
Set for Aug. 3-5 at Chicago’s Grant Park, other acts will include indie crossover success Florence and the Machine and recently reunited At the Drive-In.
The billing of Black Sabbath reps the only North American date in 2012 for the seminal metal band to date. Earlier this year, lead guitarist Tony Iommi was diagnosed with cancer.
The lineup also features the Shins, Sigur Ros, Passion Pit, Justice, Bassnectar, Avicii, Kaskade, the Weeknd and more than 100 other artists.
