Rees heads to West End

Actor will perform solo show in the fall

LONDON — Brit thesp Roger Rees (“Cheers,” “Grey’s Anatomy”) will return to the West End for a limited three-week run of his solo show “What You Will,” starting Sept. 18 at the Apollo Theater.

Currently lauded as the co-helmer of five-time Tony winner “Peter and the Starcatcher,” Rees first performed his irreverent Shakespeare-themed show in 2007 at Washington’s Folger Theater. In the 90-minute one-man show, Rees draws on the actor’s 22-year career with the Royal Shakespeare Company as well as great Shakespearean disasters.
