‘Lion King’ rules the road

Road grosses

Four of the nine shows pulled in more than $1 million in Week 2 (June 4-10). Total box office increased 2.11% over the frame. During its fourth week in Miami, “The Lion King” took the top spot with $1,436,353, though “Wicked” set a house record with $1,434,156 during its third week in Sacramento, Calif. Total gross for the week was $9,037,094.
