Legit exhaustion for ‘Grace’ thesps

Show stars Rudd, Shannon, Asner

Right after Thursday’s curtain call for Craig Wright’s “Grace,” producer Paula Wagner dashed out of the Cort Theater — in heels, no less — to check out rehearsals for her “The Heiress,” starring Jessica Chastain. Then she circled back to the “Grace” shindig at Copacabana, where she could congratulate thesps including Paul Rudd, Michael Shannon and Ed Asner.

Compared to doing a movie, Rudd said performing in a play is way more exhausting. But, “most nights, it’s worth it,” he said.

He’s just glad to have finally finished with previews, opening night and reviews. “The best part of doing a play is getting past all that,” he said.
