Prod'n took five Olivier noms

LONDON — “The Ladykillers,” the recent West End hit adaptation of the 1955 Ealing Comedy movie classic, is to tour the U.K. and Ireland.

Produced by Edward Snape for Fiery Angel in association with Fiery Dragons, Olympus Theatricals, Jason Haigh-Ellery, Studiocanal and Liverpool Everyman & Playhouse, Graham Linehan’s hit adaptation, helmed by Sean Foley, recouped in six weeks and garnered five Olivier noms.

The tour, with a new cast including Michele Dotrice as the little old lady unwittingly giving solace to a bunch of crackpot criminals, embarks on the 26-week tour beginning Sept. 14 at Plymouth’s Theater Royal.
