Actress Hallie Foote will be joined by Tim Hopper, Adam LeFevre and Adina Verson in “Him,” the new play by her sister Daisy Foote, at Off Broadway’s Primary Stages.
Off Broadway vet Hopper (“CQ/CX”), LeFevre (“Priscilla Queen of the Desert”) and newcomer Verson join thesp Foote in a play about two siblings who must contend with their father’s dying wish while working to keep the family store open. Foote is currently appearing at Primary Stages in “Harrison, TX,” three plays by Horton Foote, the father of Hallie and Daisy.
Evan Yionoulis (“The Violet Hour”) helms “Him,” which begins perfs Sept. 25 at Primary Stages’ space at 59E59 Theaters, where “Harrison, TX” shutters Sept. 15.
Design team for “Him” includes Marion Willians (sets), Teresa Snider-Stein (costumes), Tyler Micoleau (lights) and Broken Chord (music and sound).
“Him” opens Oct. 9 as the second part of Primary Stages’ Foote family festival. Next up from the Off Broadway troupe is a revival of David Ives’ comedy “All in the Timing,” beginning a run in January; a final production for the season is still to be announced.
