Houdyshell to appear in Foote plays

Primary Stages’ Off Broadway production of “Harrison, TX: Three Plays by Horton Foote” has lined up a cast that includes the scribe’s daughter, Hallie Foote, and recent Tony nominee Jayne Houdyshell.

Pam MacKinnon, who helmed Tony winning play “Clybourne Park,” directs. Cast also includes Evan Jonigkeit, Devon Abner, Mary Bacon, Jeremy Bobb, Alexander Cendense, Andrea Lynn Green and Dare Paulin.

Evening consists of a trio of plays — “Blind Date,” “The One-Armed Man” and “The Midnight Caller” — that center on the residents of a small town in Texas.

Show kicks off the 2012-13 season at Primary Stages, with the production running July 24-Sept. 15 at 59E59 Theaters.
