XLrator nabs domestic rights to ‘Inbred’

Pic stars Hartley, Doherty, O'Neill, Burrows

XLrator Media has acquired all U.S. rights to Alex Chadon’s horror comedy “Inbred,” starring Jo Hartley, James Doherty, Seamus O’Neill and James Burrows.

The movie was produced by Yazid Benfeghoul, Michael Kraetzer and Margaret Milner and executive produced by Chadon, Benfeghoul and Kraetzer.

Script, written by Chandon and Paul Shrimpton, follows four young urban offenders and their care workers as they embark on a community service weekend in the strange, remote Yorkshire village. A minor incident with some local inbred youths rapidly escalates into a nightmare for all involved.

The deal was negotiated by Clay Epstein on behalf of Arclight Films and Barry Gordon on behalf of XLrator Media.
