Where Fairy meets Frost

'Guardians' preems in the U.K. at Leicester Square

Paramount rolled out the frosty blue carpet Thursday for the U.K. preem of “Rise of the Guardians” in Leicester Square.

Pic’s Jack Frost, aka Chris Pine, joined Tooth Fairy, aka Isla Fisher, to help helmer Peter Ramsey open the Square’s pic-inspired “Magical Funland” play park, a tribute to the fantasy world of the childhood Guardians.

Guests big and small enjoyed the pre-party, testing their fairy-flying skills and skidding down icy slides, before skidding along the crisp carpet into the Empire cinema.

Producer Christina Steinberg took her own photos of the frosty action. When asked about casting characters like Santa Claus, she quipped, “We made a list, and thought, Alec Baldwin: who else is naughty and nice!”
