WB sets two-pic deal with Herbig

Multihyphenate will begin shooting in March

MOSCOW — Warner Bros. Germany has inked a first-look, two-picture deal with German multihyphenate Michael “Bully” Herbig’s shingle HerbX.

The first film is “Buddy,” which Herbig will write, direct and also play the two lead roles. It starts shooting March. Second pic has yet to be announced.

Previously Herbig released his films via Constantin.

In the past four years the comedy star has concentrated on acting in films such as “Hotel Lux” and “Zettle.”

He wrote, directed and appeared in German hits including comedy western “Manitou’s Shoe” and sci-fi laffer “Dreamship Surprise.”
